2009 Australasian Tablets in Education Conference
Tablet technology is increasingly embraced by educators across Australasia as an effective way to create a more engaging and stimulating teaching and learning environment. The 2009 Australasian Tablets in Education Conference (ATiEC) brought educators together who share a passion in adopting tablet technology across the educational divide (primary & secondary schooling, vocational training, and higher education) and across diverse subject ranges.
The 2009 ATiEC served as a forum for
• generating passion for tablet technology in education,
• exchanging ideas and broadening horizons,
• stimulating debates on new pedagogical approaches,
• identifying best practices in the educational use of tablet technology, and
• building a community of tablet adopters in education in Australasia.
